Maxxis Trepador Sticky Tires Are For Off-Road Competition Use Only

**These are the exact same tires used by Ultra4, KOH, and Rock Bouncer racers.**

Maxxis Trepador Competition Compound tires feature an extremely aggressive tread pattern, ultra-soft rubber compound, and a race-spec carcass designed to withstand the abuses of Ultra4, KOH, rock bouncing, and international off-road racing. Unlike other tire brands that produce lower grade "competition tires" for sale to the general public, these tires sold by Filthy Motorsports are the exact same tires used by top professional off-road racers in Ultra4 and KOH competitions.

Although D.O.T. approved these tires are not recommended for street use.

Important: For Cold Weather Storage (short-term or extended):
When Maxxis competition tires are exposed to temperatures below 32ºF (0ºC), the unique racing rubber compounds used in these tires will lose their flexibility. This loss in flexibility can lead to potential cracking and other damage to the tire.

Do not move or operate the car with these tires mounted on the vehicle if conditions are below 32ºF (0ºC). Always store these tires indoors and at temperatures above 32ºF (0ºC). Avoid transporting and handling these tires in conditions below 32°F (0°C). Do not mount or dismount these tires when the surrounding work area temperature is under 50ºF (10ºC). Before mounting or dismounting, store these tires indoors for at least 24 hours in a temperature-controlled area of 68ºF (20ºC) or warmer. Remove these tires from the vehicle and deflate to half the normal air pressure during prolonged periods of non-use or storage.

ALWAYS INSPECT FOR SIGNS OF CRACKING! NEVER USE TIRES THAT HAVE CRACKED!

5 of 5 Amazing Tires! October 1, 2018
Reviewer: Tim from Las Vegas, NV
I've been running these on my Ultra4 rig for several seasons now and absolutely love them! I ran BFG red labels before and there is no comparison, these hook-up like nothing else. These have a very heavy carcass so they take a few trips to break in, especially on a light rig (we normally run them almost flat for a while to flex out the sidewalls). These tires also need to be warm to hook up well so if you wheel in cold weather you'll need to spin the tires a bit to get traction before attempting a climb. They certainly aren't for everyone at this price and you definitely need to change your driving style a bit but if you are looking for competition compound tires, this is it!

3 of 5 Not impressed September 3, 2018
Reviewer: Bryan Hopkins from Jackson, CA United States
I have had these tires for a year now and have run 5 trails including the Rubicon twice. They are mounted to trail ready beadlocks on a Suzuki Sidekick. My biggest complaint is if I run them under 12 psi they burp air and go flat. To run from loon lake to little sluice I had to air up 4 times. (WTF) What good is a off-road tire at 12 psi. The compound is very soft but I have noticed no difference in traction. This may be because of my light vehicle and the fact I can’t air them down to what I was running before. These perform no better than the 33” Cooper m/t’s on Rocky Mountain non beadlock wheels I was running before. The only positive I can say is they are tough as nails. Considering I’ve ran them until they were flat about 20 times now with no damage lol. All in all I would no buy them again. Between the tires and wheels I feel like I just threw 6k in the trash.
