King 2.5 Performance Race Series Bypass Shocks have become the industry standard for off-road racing bypass shocks. Not only are they built to take extreme abuse, they are the perfect size to tame even the most extreme prerunner or rock crawler. Their size even makes them the ultimate shock upgrade for large trucks and SUVs. Adjustable bypass tubes on the outside of the shock allow for specific compression and rebound zones to be tuned for the ultimate in suspension travel tuning and control.

Standard Sizes and Options
For the price listed above, you get a 6 to 14 inch travel, 2.5 body, 2 tube bypass shocks that comes with a free piggyback reservoir upgrade. 16 and 18 inch travel shafts, additional bypass tubes, and a remote reservoir are popular options that are available for an added fee.

Custom Built and Valved by King Racing
King bypass shocks, like all King shocks, are not built on an assembly line. They are hand built, one at a time by a trained King Racing technician. Your bypass tubes will be tig welded exactly where you want them and your shock's piston will be valved for the exact compression and rebound that your vehicle and driving style require. This unique service is free to Filthy Motorsports customers and it only adds a few days to your delivery date.

Selecting Shock Valving
Bypass shocks allow for specific compression and rebound zone tuning, so the piston valving is extra tricky and much more important to the overall performance of the shock. If you already know the details of what you need, complete the build menu above and we will get a build sheet over to King for assembly. If you need help choosing the right setup, you've come to the right place. Complete the above build menu and select the number of bypass tubes you would like (more is always better), then tell us as much as possible about your application in the "Shock Details" text box. After reviewing the information you provide (and contacting you if there is anything else we need to know), we will pass the information along to King Racing for approval and blueprinting. Your final build sheet will then be given to a King Racing technician to be hand built. As you can already tell, we take valving as seriously as King racing does because we want your King bypass shocks to be absolutely perfect.

Servicing, Tuning, and Rebuilding
For most people, this bypass shock will last a lifetime, but with the off-road abuse that our customers are known for putting their vehicles through, these shocks will need regular maintenance. Luckily, King designs all of their shocks to be easily serviced, rebuilt, and tuned with basic hand tools. Filthy Motorsports offers the full range of King replacement parts for those who want to do the work themselves, or you can bring (or send) your shocks to us and we'll get them serviced in one business day.
