**Note: Springs are calculated differently on 3.0 Coilovers. The lower spring is the primary spring and ride height is set using the stop nuts. The upper spring acts as a tender spring to keep the springs from going loose at full extension. The upper spring cannot be removed once assembled.**

King 3.0 Performance Race Series Coil Over Shocks are designed and built to support and control the most hard core, long range off-road racing vehicles. With spring rates available up to 800 lbs per inch, these massive coilovers can support even the largest vehicles. All new coilover orders include free spring rate calculation and custom shock valving to fit your application.

Standard Sizes and Options
These coil over shocks come standard with a 3.0 body, 1" diameter shock shaft, shock travel lengths from 8 to 18 inches, a remote reservoir, and dual rate coil carrier hardware. Triple spring rate hardware is an available upgrade, as is a piggyback reservoir. Coil springs are not included at this price, but they are available separately in spring rates from 100 to 800 lbs per inch.

Custom Built and Valved by King Racing
There is no assembly line or storage warehouse for King shocks. These coil overs, like all of King's shocks, are hand built, one at a time, by a professional shock technician. Once your order is placed, a build sheet will be sent to King where your shocks will be custom built to your exact specifications. This unique service is available to Filthy Motorsports customers free of charge and it will only add a couple of days to your delivery time.

Selecting Shock Valving and Spring Rates
Valving and spring rates are the heart of every coil over shock, and matching them perfectly with your vehicle and driving style is imperative to maximizing your vehicle's performance. Selecting the right valving and spring rate on a coil over this large is not an easy task, but Filthy Motorsports and King Racing are here to help. We'll need to know as much information as possible about your vehicle, suspension system, and driving style to determine the proper valving. For this reason, we've added a "Shock Details" text box to the build menu above were you can tell us everything there is to know about your application. The more you tell us, the more likely your valving is to be correct. Don't worry, if after reviewing your information we feel that additional data is needed, we'll be sure to contact you for it directly. We cannot over emphasize the importance of proper valving and we will do everything we can to set you up with the perfect set of coil overs.

Servicing, Tuning, and Rebuilding
You will be glad to know that with only a little maintenance, these shocks are designed and built to last a lifetime of severe abuse. Filthy Motorsports has all of the replacement King shock parts you need to service, maintain, and tune your coil over shocks and the process as actually quite simple. By design, all one needs to service a King shock is a set of basic hand tools and a few hours. If you would rather not tackle the chore yourself, you can bring (or send) your coil overs to us and we'd be happy to service them for you.
