Daystar Stinger bump stops feature proprietary EVS foam inserts that offer reliable and effective compression damping without the complex valving, oil, and nitrogen required in hydraulic bump stops. They combine the simplicity, reliability, and durability of a polyurethane bump stop with the adjustable, rebuildable, heavy duty design of a race-spec nitrogen bump stop.

Compression Tuning
Unlike polyurethane bump stops that act similar to springs, the EVS foam found inside each Stinger bump stop has a microcellular structure that absorbs compression while reducing rebound forces. The replaceable EVS foam inserts are available in two interchangeable densities with progressive compression rates and allow for easy tuning by combining them in different arrangements. Additionally, each bump stop come with a stroke limiting spacer that can be combined with the EVS inserts to shorten the overall travel of the bump stop.

Installation
Daystar Stinger bump stops can be installed in three different ways. First, they can be mounted using Daystar's weld-on inserts (sold separately) that, after welded into the location of your choice, allow the Stinger housing to be threaded onto the insert for easy installation and removal. Alternatively, traditional style 2" hydraulic bump stop cans (sold separately) can be used in the same way that competition style bump stops are installed. Finally, some Filthy Motorsports customers have found that the most effective way to mount them is to take them apart and weld the Stinger housing into place directly using custom made brackets.

Note: This product may require custom mounting that should be performed by a professional.
