Mickey Thompson Baja Claw tires are tough and puncture resistant with a super aggressive and extra wide paddle style tread pattern that gives you unmatched traction in the most extreme off-roading conditions. The specifically selected 23 degree tread lugs and oversize sidewall blocks offer amazing forward traction on rocks, dirt, mud, and snow thanks to their self cleaning, high void ratio and plentiful biting edges. Circumferential grooves improve tire flex for maximum surface contact while providing hydroplaning resistance on wet roads and highways. Radial versions of the Baja Claw have an advanced design that increases tread life and gives the tires a surprisingly smooth ride considering their aggressive nature. For those that require even more strength, puncture resistance, and road handling, SLT versions of the Baja Claw are available with 3 ply sidewalls and 6 ply tread.

Extreme 46" and 54" Tall Sizes
If the above listed features still aren't extreme enough for you, Mickey Thompson offers bias-ply versions of their Baja Claw in huge 46 and 54 inch tall sizes. Further improving their off-road capabilities, these bias-ply models are more flexible and have tougher 6 ply lower sidewalls for even more puncture resistance. These tougher sidewalls allow the tires to be run off-road at very low tire pressures and, thanks to their super wide 19.5 inch footprint, provide an astonishingly large contact patch for unsurpassed grip and flotation in mud and snow. These features also make these tires popular with rock crawlers and competition buggies as is made clear by the 54" TTC model that was specifically made and designed for use in the punishingly tough Top Truck Challenge.
