Mile Marker H10500 and HI10500 Series hydraulic winches are powered by your vehicle's power steering pump and as such, they have a 100% duty cycle and will never overheat. As long as your engine is idling, the winch will run non-stop at full power, unlike an electric winch that will drain your battery and stall because it uses 3 to 4 times more power than your alternator can generate. Mile Marker hydraulic winches are also completely waterproof and will work even if they are fully submerged so if you get stuck during a river crossing or in heavy rain or snow you can use your winch without worry of it shorting out. The winch comes equipped with 100 feet of aircraft grade, galvanized, 3/8" diameter cable and a heavy duty roller fairlead that are both rated for loads well above the winches 10,500 lb. capacity.

HI10500 model winches come with a 12 foot long remote winch controller and are easy to install thanks to their compact design and integrated solenoids and valves. An adapter kit, available in vehicle specific and universal versions, is sold separately and is required to plumb the winch into the vehicle's power steering fluid circuit. All kits include fittings, hoses, and detailed instructions to make the bolt-in process very quick and easy.

H10500 model winches have valves and solenoids that are mounted remotely on the vehicle instead of onthe winch body. This design allows the winch to be mounted in tighter areas and to be easily removed if necessary.The hydraulic valves and electric solenoids, as well as the hoses, fittings, and remote winch controller are sold separately in vehicle specific and universal adapter kits designed to make installation fast and easy.
