Mile Marker H12000 and HI12000 Series hydraulic winch models can work non-stop without stalling or draining your battery because they work off of your vehicle's power steering pump. These models have a 12,000 lb. pull rating, a 100% duty cycle, and are completely waterproof and submersible. Cross rivers and streams with confidence knowing that even if you get stuck in the middle with the winch under water it will still be able to pull you out. Even with the engine speed at idle, these winch models will work indefinitely at full capacity. An electric winch, on the other hand, will eventually overheat or drain your battery because it uses much more electricity than your alternator can produce. The winch comes with 100 feet of 3/8" galvanized aircraft grade cable that runs through a heavy duty roller fairlead making for safe and smooth operation throughout the 12,000 lb. range.

HI12000 model winches integrate their solenoids and valves into their compact winch body for easy and convenient mounting. Installation of the winch requires a universal or vehicle specific adapter kit that is sold separately and includes all the necessary fittings for an easy bolt-on connection to your vehicle's power steering fluid circuit. Unlike the H1200 model, the HI12000 includes a 12' remote winch controller, valves, solenoids and hoses so you can choose to custom plumb the winch yourself without the adapter kit (this is not recommended).

H12000 model winches use externally mounted valves and solenoids for custom or detachable mounting applications. The required hydraulic valves, solenoids, hoses, fittings, and remote winch controller are sold separately in vehicle specific or universal adapter kits and are designed to make installation of the winch quick and easy. Many people purchase several adapter kits to install on multiple vehicles or in the front and back of their vehicle to work with hitch mounted hydraulic winches.
