Mile Marker H9000 and HI9000 Series hydraulic winches are unique in that they have a 100% duty cycle because they are powered by your vehicle's power steering pump. Even with the engine running, an electric winch will draw more power from the battery than the alternator can replace which will cause an electric winch to eventually run out of power and stall. A hydraulic powered winch, on the other hand, will pull at its full capacity as long as the vehicle's engine is running (even at idle) without overheating or draining the battery. Additionally, Mile Marker hydraulic winches are completely waterproof so if you ever get stuck crossing a river, the winch will still function at full capacity even if it is fully submerged. 100 feet of 3/8" galvanized aircraft grade cable and a heavy duty roller fairlead allow for safe and smooth operation and are standard equipment on both 9,000 hydraulic winch models.

HI9000 model winches have their solenoids and valves integrated into the winch body making them compact in size and easier to mount. A 12 foot long illuminated joystick remote comes with the winch but a vehicle specific adapter kit is required to plumb the winch lines into the power steering pump. Installation is very simple and the vehicle specific kits make it an easy bolt-on process.

H9000 model winches have an independent valve and plumbing design that makes them ideal for custom or detachable mounting applications. The hydraulic valves and solenoids are sold separately in vehicle specific or universal adapter kits that include all necessary hoses, fittings, and an illuminated 12 foot long remote winch controller. Valves and solenoids are mounted remotely on the vehicle so the winch can be easily removed.
