Our Tire Grooving Kit includes an Ideal heated Knives brand 250 watt, 120 volt, tire groover, a size four (7/32") head, and a dozen size 4 round blades. Each kit comes complete with a heavy duty, reusable case for safe storage and easy transportation.

This tire groover has been around for many years and has become the preferred tool of off-road and dirt track racing teams. It is designed and built to survive hundreds of tire grooving cycles and is very easy to use. An interchangeable, solid brass head heats the cutting blade as well as the tire rubber ahead of it to cut grooves quickly, accurately, and effortlessly in any tire. The blades are made from the finest quality steel and are honed to a razor-sharp edge. Blades attach the the tire grooving head with one screw for easy replacement and cutting depth adjustments.

This Tire Groover Works Great August 24, 2010

I used this tire groover to cut up a set of 39.5" Super Swampers and once the groover got warmed up it cut through them like they were made of butter. The tires took about 4 hours to groove and the unit performed flawlessly. I managed to only need 5 blades, but would recommend replacing them slightly more often than that. Overall, I highly recommend this tool.
