King Lower Mounting Lugs (a.k.a. bar pins, cross-pins, or cross shafts) for King OEM coilovers for Ford and GM applications are precision machined from steel and feature a fine thread to accept a matching billet aluminum locking nut (sold separately). While mounting lugs are not a wear item, the fine threads may get damaged or rust, requiring them to be replaced during service.
