Description

**Read all instructions carefully before ordering bearing grommets.**
**No returns or exchanges on grommets.**

King Shock Grommets are used to keep piggyback, bypass, steering stabilizer, OEM, and other shocks from rotating in their mounting brackets. They are a tight fit around the misalignment spacers and within the shock top cap and/or lower rod end. There are three sizes available and grommets must mach bearing sizes (1/2", 5/8", and 3/4"). Use the drop down menus above to select your grommet size.

If you are not sure what size bearings your shock has, please see our King Shock Bearings page.

King bearing grommets work best with 1/2"x1.25" and 1/2"x1.50" Misalignment Spacers.

King grommets may fit other brands of shocks that use the same bearings (see table below).

To order the correct grommets you simply need to match the grommet size with your shock bearing size. Grommets are a tight press fit over the misalignment spacers and inside the shock top cap or rod ends.

King P/N Description Bearing Series

SG201 Grommet for 1/2" Bearing B1012 COM8
SG202 Grommet for 5/8" Bearing B1058 COM10
SG203 Grommet for 3/4" Bearing B1034 COM12

Grommets are not seals! Shock bearing grommets are not intended to act as seals, in fact, they tend to trap moisture in at the bearing which may reduce bearing life. If your application does not require grommets, we advise not using them. For shocks that do require grommets (bypass shocks and piggyback reservoir shock), we recommend lubricating the bearings liberally with Tri-Flow Teflon Lubricant.
