Returns: A 20% restocking fee applies to any authorized returns. Custom and special order shocks are non-returnable and non-refundable.

Sales Tax: King Shocks are only taxable when shipping to CO and WA, however, expedited orders may be taxable to AZ, CA, CO, NV, TX, UT, and WA. If sales tax is not calculated correctly by our website, we will adjust it upon order review.


King 3.0 PR Series Coilover Shocks are designed and built to support extra large and heavy vehicles as well as provide extreme strength, damping control, and heat dissipation for long range off-road racing vehicles. Spring rates are sold separately for 3.0 coilovers as they range in price and availability and are calculated differently than 2.0 and 2.5 coilovers. For dual rate applications, the upper spring must be installed at the time of assembly similar to a tender spring.

Shock Tuning Options
As soon as you place your order, one of our experienced shock tuning experts will review your shock specifications and contact you to finalize the details of your order. All King shocks are available with standard or custom tuning. For custom tuning, one of our shock tuning experts will work with you one-on-one to ensure your shocks are built perfectly for your application to provide the best balance of performance and ride quality. For coilovers we will also calculate the proper spring rates for you and back them with our free spring exchange program. Standard valving is also available for do-it-yourself clients or those that plan to re-valve the shocks themselves with one of our King valve stack kits. Our standard valving is calculated to work well for most typical applications that would utilize this size shock.

Compressed and extended shock lengths are measured from eye-to-eye.
For coilovers, account for a 3/4" bump stops and 1/2" for lower spring plate.
Rod ends, IBP, and other options may alter shock dimensions.

Custom Built and Valved by King Racing
King coil over shocks don't spend much time on a warehouse shelf because they are all custom built-to-order by a King Racing technician. Filthy Motorsports, submits every shock order to King Racing as a custom shock. This means that your coil over shocks will be hand-built to your specs by the people that build the race shocks found on trophy trucks.

Selecting Shock Valving and Spring Rates
Choosing the right spring rates and shock valving is critical to making sure that your King shocks make your vehicle perform at its best. The good news, is that you've come to the right place. Filthy Motorsports has a close relationship with King Racing that allows us to consult with their technicians and determine the right valving for your shocks. In order for us to help you, we need to know as much as possible about your vehicle and driving style as possible. For this reason, we've added a "Shock Details" text box to the build menu above. Don't be shy, it's impossible to give us too much information and every detail can help. It should be obvious at this point - we take shock valving and spring rates as seriously as King Racing does because it's all about getting you the perfect set of coil over shocks.

Servicing, Tuning, and Rebuilding
Your coil over shocks are fine tuned machines and although they are built to take some serious off-road racing abuse, they will eventually require some maintenance if you treat them like most of our customers do. Again, Filthy Motorsports is there to help, we offer all of the King replacement parts you need to service, tune, and rebuild your coil overs. By design, King shocks can easily be serviced with simple hand tools so it is something you could do yourself, or if you prefer, you can bring (or send) us your shocks and we'll service them for you.
