Locker Recommendations

Ford F-150 series trucks feature a front IFS differential and a solid rear axle. For improved front traction we recommend an Eaton TrueTrac and for the rear, we highly recommend the Eaton TrueTrac for most applications or an Eaton E-Locker for extreme off-road use.


Ford F-150 (1997 - 2003)

The following gears, lockers and install kits are available for 1997 to 2003 Ford F-150 with Ford 8.8" 28-Spline IFS front axles and Ford 8.8" or 9.75" rear axles. Between 2001 and 2003, some heavy duty versions of the F-150 came equipped with an optional, but rare 7-lug Ford 10.5" rear axles.
